Are You Scared to Solo Travel?

The world is designed to make you scared. This is common not only with news and mainstream media but also with all thrillers and horror films we consume. Society is more controllable if you infuse fear into everyone: prejudices, racism, fear of any kind.

Having said that, I was a victim of sexual harassment myself on my solo trip and I will share my experience as well.

Solo Traveling and Overcoming Fear

I am currently solo travelling to write books and make videos for my Youtube channel, and before my journey, I started following many other solo travellers, both males and females. Every single one of them documents amazing experiences with strangers, locals, hitchhiking, and meeting new people in random places. Of course, be cautious, but do not be paranoid.

There are horrible stories online as well but with the right information, you will be fine. Just be prepared. If you focus on good stories only, you will be happy/naive. If you focus on bad stories only, you will be scared/paranoid.

I still believe humanity is mostly good.
