How I Stopped Getting Sick Every Two Weeks

I haven’t been sick in a year. That might not sound groundbreaking to some people, but for me, it’s basically a miracle. Because not long ago, I was ill every two weeks. Like clockwork. Whether it was a cold, sore throat, fatigue, whatever — it would show up, take me out for a few days, I’d recover, and then two weeks later: boom. Again.

I got to a point where I just said: this is not normal. This isn’t just “low immunity” or “bad luck.” Something was obviously off, and I needed to figure out what.

Looking back, it’s very clear what the problem was. I was caught up in hustle culture — hard. I bought into every single bit of it. Those clips you see everywhere of people screaming at you to get up at 5am, stop making excuses, grind while others sleep, success doesn’t wait, don’t eat until you earn it — yep, that was my daily bread. And not just watching them, I was living it. I thought that if I didn’t follow that mentality, I’d fail. I’d be lazy. I wouldn’t make it.

And it’s wild, because on paper, I was doing everything “right.” I was going to the gym, doing cold plunges, sweating it out in the sauna, eating organic, taking supplements, even drinking green juices like some overachieving wellness TikToker. But the truth? I was…
