111 million views in the first month which is the Netflix record of any show in history. 1.6 billion hours watched in 28 days. Yes, I’m talking about Squid Game and guess what? The new season, season number 2 is planned and it’s gonna happen very, very soon.

Why are we so obsessed with Squid Game? It’s a human experience masterpiece but it’s original because characters are not forced to play like in for example Hunger Games or Gladiator, they actually volunteer.

We watch because we keep asking ourselves like ‘Would we play? What would I do in that situation?’

I think this is absolutely crucial in order for Squid Game to be successful or any kind of TV show for that matter. Season 1 finished with an open ending and obviously we’re gonna continue with season 2 so let’s recap how season 1 ended.

How Season 1 ended?

Seong Gi-hun played by Lee Jung-jae has won Squid Game but refusing to spend any prize money for over a year after the mastermind behind the Squid Game dies the game still goes on. Seong Gi-hun discovers that when he sees a salesman trying to recruit people to play.
