Stressed over work? Grandpa walked barefoot in winter. Think perspective

I’ve never seen my grandparents stressed about life or anything trivial. Maybe it’s because they witnessed the horrors of World War II. At 13, they were dragging dead bodies for burial. So, why would a late train or a wrong coffee order faze them? They’ve lived through times with no milk, food, clothes, or dignity, hiding in bunkers while Nazis occupied their homes in Europe, specifically the Slovak State, waiting for the Soviets to liberate them from Poland.
