Why Did Kanye Say Chester Bennington Was Murdered?

Are These Just Conspiracies — Or Are We Missing Something?

For years now, there’s been a quiet but growing group of voices suggesting that Chester Bennington’s death wasn’t as straightforward as it seemed. Officially, the Linkin Park frontman died by suicide in 2017. But more recently, even people close to him — like his first born son Jaime, his own mother, and now Kanye West — have made comments that hint at something darker.

Jaime’s social media posts have been cryptic at times, implying that something still doesn’t sit right with how his dad died. He is convinced that his father was murdered or was pressured to take his own life.

His grandmother — Chester’s mum — has recently echoed similar confusion confessing that Chester called her months before his death saying the band wants to kick him out.

No one is pointing fingers directly. But there’s a vibe, an energy, that suggests they haven’t made peace with the story they were given.

And now Kanye West, of all people, randomly tweeted: “They killed that boy from Lincoln Park.” The name of the band is of course Linkin Park but before that, they were called “Lincoln Park” which was Chester’s idea.
