Cinema famous bridge that completely fell apart in Harry Potter Half Blood Prince, almost fell apart for real just after its opening back in 2000. Yes, it’s called Millennium Bridge and it’s situated between Tate Modern and St. Paul’s Cathedral in Central London.

The architecture is just to die for really. It looks out of this world so no wonder it also appeared in The Guardians of the Galaxy film.

The scientists and engineers are still trying to exactly find the reason why this bridge is a bit wobbly. On the day of its opening on 10th June 2000, the bridge swayed and people got panicked a little! It caused a closure for the next two years to figure out what is going on.

Millennium Bridge is 325 metres long and it’s only meant for pedestrians. You can see and amazing views on either side. Because of its structure on both sides, it’s heaven for parkour and social media stunts where people climb and sit on the edge of the bridge.

Next time you’re in London, definitely go visit and don’t worry, it’s not that wobbly anymore!!
